IIT-Bombay scraps face-to-face lectures till 2020, opts for online classes

Amid rising coronavirus COVID-19 cases in different parts of the country, including Mumbai, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT-B) on Wednesday (June 24)  became the first major institute to scrap all face-to-face lectures for the rest of 2020 "so that there is no compromise on the safety and well-being of the students".
